After hearing reports of old pal Nicolas Cage's financial woes, Depp has stepped up and offered to help Cage out with whatever financial assistance he needs. The two met back when Depp was a struggling young musician, and Cage was instrumental in getting Depp into the acting business, namely Depp's first movie, A Nightmare on Elm Street."Johnny called Nic and basically told him not to worry and he'd help him and sort everything out. Johnny feels he owes his career to Nic and now wants to repay him — if Nic agrees."
