After posting $4.5 million bail, the famed director is set to maintain his luxurious lifestyle while Swiss authorities decide whether or not to expedite him to the United States. Polanski will be living in his $1.6 million chateau, previously owned by Elizabeth Taylor and visited by Michael Jackson. The place is definitely an upgrade to the small cell he has been held in for the past two months.A local tourism chief stated, "You can get almost everything here, provided you've got the money. Locals tend to go to the big cities to buy things, but our rich guests can get what they want right here."
