My Fair Lady set to be re-made!

Or it might be if John Madden gets his way. He's currently in talks with Columbia Pictures to remake the film. Keira Knightley has been eyeing the lead role for quite some time, anxious to step into shoes previously worn by legends Audrey Hepburn and Julie Andrews. With book and lyrics by Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, My Fair Lady was first staged in 1956 and featured Julie Andrews and Rex Harrison. In 1964 the musical was brought to the big screen and featured Hepburn opposite Harrison in the lead role.
