Balloon Boy's parents plead guilty to hoax.

As reported by CNN, Richard Heene has pled guilty to the felony charges of attempting to influence a public servant. Last month, Heene and his wife Mayumi staged a massive hoax involving one of their sons. They Set off a giant silver balloon, claiming it was an accident and that their son was in it. This set in motion a series of events that cost the taxpayers a huge sum of money. While Richard is facing jail time, his wife has another problem. She faces deportation.

Said the attorney, "Mayumi Heene is a citizen of Japan. As such, any felony conviction or certain misdemeanors would result in her deportation, even though her husband and children are Americans."
