Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning's on screen kiss!

In the upcoming biopic The Runaways, Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning portray rockers Joan Jett and Cherie Curie, respectfully. The two were best friends in the 70's and apparently took their friendship to a more passionate level.

"Yes, it happens in The Runaways,” says Dakota in a recent interview with Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson.

“Was it a passionate kiss?” Shaun asked.

“Yeah. We’re playing Joan Jett Cherie Curie and they’re best friends in the film and became really close in real life,” Dakota replied. “And that’s something that went down back in the ‘70s.”
